Supporting Bereaved Military Children

To mark Armed Forces Day, Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex and Nikki Scott, founder of Scotty’s Little Soldiers took part in a recorded conversation. The pair discussed service, grief and the power of turning pain into purpose.

Nikki’s personal tragedy led her to establish Scotty’s Little Soldiers in 2010 with a mission to provide bereaved military children opportunities to smile again and find joy amidst their grief. The Duke currently serves as Global Ambassador for Scotty’s Little Soldiers.

Expressing his admiration for Nikki’s work, the Duke remarked, “What you’ve done is incredible. It is truly inspirational. I’m really honoured and privileged to be part of Scotty’s now and I really look forward to us doing everything we can to bring in more people, more interest, raise more funds and be able to get the message out there to get more kids the support they so desperately need.”

Together through their partnership, they will continue to work to provide a haven of empathy, support, and advocacy as they aim to ensure bright futures for these courageous children.
