Responsible Technology Youth Power Fund Convening

Yesterday in New York City, Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, participated in the Responsible Technology Youth Power Fund (RTYPF) Convening—a dynamic gathering of young leaders, partners and funders committed to shaping a safer, more inclusive digital future.

The RTYPF is an initiative designed to empower young changemakers who are at the forefront of reimagining technology as a force for good. These youth-led projects prioritize ethical innovation, digital literacy, online safety, and mental well-being—key pillars in addressing the complex challenges of our digital world.

Throughout the day, attendees engaged in thoughtful roundtable discussions focused on ethical artificial intelligence, the intersection of social media and teen mental health, and the potential for technology to address pressing global issues such as climate change. The Duke joined these conversations, listening to the stories, ideas, and solutions being advanced by the next generation of leaders.

Prince Harry addressed the room, emphasizing the critical role of youth voices in the responsible technology movement, and sharing how deeply inspired he is by the vision and courage of RTYPF’s young leaders.

Trisha Prabhu, founder of ReThink Citizens—a youth-led nonprofit working to end hate and bullying in schools and communities—closed the session with powerful remarks on resilience, empathy, and the transformative potential of responsible tech.

For over four years, the Duke and Duchess have been vocal advocates for a healthier digital landscape, championing responsible tech through community engagement, policy reform, and youth empowerment. Their ongoing commitment reflects a broader vision: a future where technology supports human connection, fosters safety, and prioritizes the well-being of all users.

Through initiatives like RTYPF and the Archewell Foundation Parents’ Network, the Duke and Duchess continue to collaborate with those most impacted—young people, parents, educators, and communities—to co-create a digital world rooted in compassion and accountability.
