Every Child Protected
Sep. 2024
On Sunday evening, Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex attended the impactful “Every Child Protected” dinner hosted by the World Health Organization (WHO). Under the leadership of Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the WHO, this gathering brought together heads of state and international leaders to discuss critical efforts aimed at achieving Sustainable Development Goal 16.2: ending violence against children.
The Duke is proud of the global initiatives aimed at protecting children and emphasized the urgent need to address online safety.
The WHO will host a Global Ministerial Conference in Colombia this November, which will focus on child protection discussions and solutions. This conference represents a vital opportunity to prioritize the safety and well-being of children globally.
As part of The Archewell Foundation’s ongoing commitment, the Duke reaffirmed that the organization would continue to advocate for child protection in all aspects of life. The Foundation’s mission is clear: to ensure that all children grow up in safe, healthy, and supportive environments, free from violence and harm.
